Dear participants in the International Central European Olympiad in Informatics,

It is a great honor for the Cluj County School Inspectorate to host the official opening of the 32( thirty-two) nd edition of the International Central European Olympiad in Informatics 2025( two thousand twenty-five) – a prestigious event that brings together, here in Cluj-Napoca, exceptional students and outstanding mentors from 15 Central European countries.
This event is more than just a competition among the best young computer science minds in Central Europe – it is a celebration of knowledge, of passion for science, and of international collaboration in the spirit of academic excellence. Romania’s role as host of this Olympiad, with the involvement of the Ministry of Education and Research, the Society for Excellence and Performance in Informatics, the Cluj County School Inspectorate, and the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, reaffirms our commitment to high-quality education and to the values of European cooperation.
Cluj-Napoca is a city of innovation, of academic spirit, and of young people who shape the future through intelligence and creativity.
